The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment (OASD[EI&E]) requires policy support to meet the goals of EO 14057. This includes identifying third-party financing (3PF), alternative financing with the Military Services and other DoD Components, and providing Department Components with guidance, policy, and processes to meet the identified EO goals. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA-E) must address the logistical hurdles to procure CFE at 500+ installations.
