Montgomery-CollegeIn 2012, Montgomery College went to considerable lengths to create a forward-looking strategic plan captured in Montgomery College 2020.  It focused the entire workforce on five themes that are designed to enhance student outcomes, enhance the College’s interaction with the Montgomery County community, and enhance the growth and development of all employees. When each organizational unit fundamentally understood their role in achieving the strategy, they created operational plans that can lead to realizing these outcomes.

TRG provided executive level consulting and overall project management utilizing its scalable methodology based upon the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).  TRG worked directly with Montgomery College’s Senior Vice President for Fiscal & Administrative Services (AFS) and its Vice President of Human Resources, Development and Engagement (HRDE), to integrate Career Development with Performance Planning and Developmental Learning, on a Competency Backbone, to align Talent Development with the burgeoning Montgomery College Strategy.  In addition to developing a Strategic Roadmap for both the overall AFS and HRDE organizations, TRG provided guidance at the highest levels of the organization to develop executable plans, including each organization’s mission and vision statements, along with strategic objectives and tactical initiatives complete with measurable outcomes that can be tracked in routine management meetings, and subsequently briefed to executive leadership including the Board of Trustees.
