The Installation Management Command (IMCOM), a single organization with six regional offices worldwide, was activated on Oct. 24, 2006, to reduce bureaucracy, apply a uniform business structure to manage U.S. Army. IMCOM, headquartered in San Antonio, TX, oversees all facets of Army installation management such as construction; barracks and family housing; family care; food management; environmental programs; well-being; soldier and family morale, welfare and recreation programs; logistics; public works and installation funding.
TRG provided acquisition and contracting support for a world-wide, multi-million dollar contract touching multiple mission critical operating domains within the Command. Our professionals interfaced directly with the Contracting Officer’s Representative, functional Task Monitors (TMs), the Mission Installation Contract Command (MICC) and communicate directly with the functional owners/staff to help prepare requirement packages, performance based work statements, contract modifications, cost estimates, cost analyses, funding requests, Service Contracting Approvals (SCAs) and other mandated documents to ensure timely and accurate acquisitions. TRG also analyzed processes and procedures to ensure Government compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) and the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFAR).
Our staff located on-site at IMCOM’s HQ, in support of this contract and supports weekly IMCOM, Contract Status Reporting – PMO to assist in identifying strengths and deficiencies that will be utilized in evaluating contractor management, systemic issues, cost saving initiatives, and lessons learned.
