The Army is tasked with the orderly and efficient removal of approximately 140,000 U.S. troops from Iraq by the end of 2011. Concurrent with this massive drawdown, over 283 military installations are required to be turned over or closed. TRG provided logistical expertise to facilitate, advise, and assist military leaders in the timely execution of the required procedures associated with base closure in Iraq.
TRG provided subject matter expertise to the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in its effort to successfully close or return coalition bases back to the Government of Iraq or land owners in accordance with the Multi-National Corps-Iraq (MNC-1) C7 base closure task list.
Our staff, comprised of Logistics Management Specialists and Property Analysts co-located with Army representatives in Iraq. Our Logistics Management Specialists have experience in a broad range of logistics support operations including transportation management, maintenance and supply operations, facility management, equipment readiness, property accountability and logistics planning. Our resources, who had a robust understanding of “in-theatre” operations, were able to help the Army meet its aggressive deadlines in a compliant manner through quality assurance and quality control programs and supply chain management processes and procedures.
