Retail Operations (RO) is responsible for management and implementation of a fourth-party logistics or 4PL model. 4PL is General Services Administration’s (GSA) new supply chain solution. A 4PL solution integrates all companies along the supply chain under a single point of oversight and offers commercial efficiencies to the federal marketplace. The RO business line manages the General Supply Services (GSS) 4PL solutions program and Classic GSA Stock Stores program. These programs represent approximately $200 million per year in gross sales. The 4PL program is composed of twenty eight (28) stores located both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside of the United States (OCONUS). The 4PL program is targeted at segments of the federal market requiring end-to-end supply chain support or pieces of that supply chain. The United States Marine Corps is GSA’s flag ship enterprise customer.
