DOJ – RMD

RecordsThe Records Management Division (RMD) is responsible for the release of records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act. In order to process and fulfill requests the Department of Justice (DOJ) is in need of robust organizational system to inventory, maintain, and transport personnel and case files.

TRG provides fundamental support to the DOJ and promotes National Security through supporting the RMD’s mission. TRG consultants provide expertise with accurate, up-to-date, easily retrievable records, files and inventory throughout the records lifecycle. TRG consultants’ efforts are twofold, with the maintenance of the physical hard files as well as updating the records management application systems with millions of case files. TRG consultants support the whole records management lifecycle including overseeing the creation of official records as well as the maintenance, use and disposition of official DOJ records. Additionally TRG consultants populate the DOJ database system to locate and transport the case files to fulfill the multitude of requests for information, should they be for research or investigative purposes.
