April 14, 2016 – Karen Ryan, TRG’s Talent Acquisition & HR Manager, participated at the Ft. Bragg Enable America’s Job Seeker’s Workshop for Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans. Ms. Ryan and several other organizations’ HR/Recruiting panelists discussed topics including LinkedIn, resume writing, preparing for an interview and the importance of networking. Veterans in various stage of starting their careers post military attended and received one on one coaching.
Enable America is a non-profit organization whose goal is to work with all members of the community – including disabled individuals, service providers, government agencies, advocacy groups, existing organizations and employers – to eliminate barriers to employment and bridge the gap between disabled job seekers and the employers who want to hire them. Enable America (www.enableamerica.org) works frequently with the Transition Coordinators of the Warrior Transition Battalion. TRG was honored to participate in a such a great program.
